$749 at Soaring USA (http://www.soaringusa.com/products/product.htm?product_id=16708&category_id=261) or Call Skip Miller (http://www.skipmillermodels.com/topazs.php)

I've flown the Ava quite a bit and the Topaz just a little. I like both. Ava is prettier, higher class of workmanship, and I think that I like the way it flies better. But both are good, or even excellent, fliers. The Ava takes some getting used to because it's a lot steadier than most gliders, so you have to read other clues besides the wiggles.

I think the Ava is a bit on the light side, although you can add some ballast. I think the standard tube is too small unless you have some tungsten available. When crashed, the tip panels shatter.

The Topaz S from SUSA already has the boom and elevator mounted. The linkage housings are already installed as well.
....It's very easy to assemble.

I bought a flapped Ava from Kennedy. Very nice to do business with. The Topaz also comes in several versions such as a full house. (Topaz M) Here's a site where you can check all of the varients out. Topazes (http://www.airplanercmodel.com/)
