Hanging a TR blade from a pin the LE leads quite a bit , this may cause high control forces back to the servo , but my question is how much does the blade lag due to drag

This brings it back to more or less 2 blades hanging straight outwards hopefully

Im making up a variable pitch plane prop using tail blades and Im just wondering about the control forces
Im running 50 size, carbon , heli, tail blades at 12 inch dia with a 150 Watt motor and I feel a 6 gram servo will be not quite up to it

I can just use a spring balance on the pitch pushrod to gauge the effort at the amps I require, while the plane is on the bench

You should also consider that centrifugal force will try to make the blades flatten out, also feeding back into the servo.

The air loads that the blades encounter while in flight ?
I will use an HS 55 servo , they are fairly robust and light , and the model is a half circle of depron so its no massive investment,

No the centrifugal forces. A flat object being spun around tries to turn itself flat into the plane of rotation. So centrifugal force will try to pull to flat pitch against the control trying to put pitch in.
