Moderator: I did not know where to post this ad other than here. If posting it here is a bad idea then please move it as needed.

For Sale: Dataq DI-194 A/D recorder board with Windows Software. $15 plus $3 shipping, USA only. PayPal.

The DI-194 is a portable data recording module that communicates through your computer’s RS-232 (or serial) port. It features four single-ended 10-bit analog inputs, three digital inputs, a ±10V full scale measurement range, and can record at rates up to 240 samples per second.

It would be ideal for you technical types that wish to build your own computerized motor or battery analyzer. If you want to see a copy of the manual (1.3 megabytes!) then PM me with your email address.

It was a board that purchasing got for an in-house test system project. I have no idea where/how it was bought. It was never used since we decided to custom design an I/O solution.

Thanks for the info; hope you didn't take it as a jab at your FS post (me, on re-reading my post in context) - just wondering if Dataq was still offering it (iirc it came "crippled" with only 2 channels working, and THEN you had to pay $$ for s/w to use all 4 channels ;) )

...just wondering if Dataq was still offering it Yes, it is still sold by them. The latest version has one less Digital I/O, but comes in a plastic case.
