Don , i notice that you carry the xf/sf rotor plug. I have the stock L-39 fan. Well while working on it i strip out the set screw. My question is will it fit my fan????I have the extreme motor.

You mean the brass hex adapter they include in the kit?
The only place I know that sells them is here:

Hello Don, just maiden the albratros with the 5400 wicked and 40 pent . It was quick. It was a little hard to land. Comes in hot. Gotta figure out how to protect those servo arms from catching weeds. Thanks again Don

Don I'm glad they're in (2700kv). I want to order one for my Stryker. Which ESC do I need?
Thanks!
After some more checking, I'm guessing a 40A will work?
Also, what size shaft does this have, and do you have the prop adaptors too?

Hello wekenav8r,check out Don's pent 40. You can use 3-or 4 cell with that bad boy. The stock prop adaptor from your styker will fit the 2700 kv motor. Hey Don thanks for the heads up about the motor comming in. I can't decide what i want to build next.

Hey, thanks for the help Kat. Actually, I've been sitting on this Stryker (airframe only replacement parts) for a couple of years now, untouched. I thought I'd pick up the stuff needed to get it in the air. As it is, I don't have a prop adapter for it, and thought I'd send as much as my business Don's way as I could.
Thanks again!

Don, your motor combo has made duct fan jets fun to fly. I don't think i would even think about duct fan jet if i didn't run into you web site. So keep up the excellent work. I have already told alot of flyers about your website and your product, and your excellent customer service. So thanks again for all your help.

Today i ran the funjet with Don's 2700 kv 4.75x5.5 prop 4s lightmax 2200 20c batt 550watt 41amp. It flew very fast and on rail. The battery, esc, and motor came down normal after full flight. At one point my wings started to futter and had to back off the stick.

Hey guys, another quick question. I have Don's 2700kv on my funjet and it's ready to go. I wanted to run it on a 3s pack for now, with a 6x4 prop. How do you detemine the mAh rating of the battery that's needed? I have a couple of 1350 packs, but I think they are too small?
Thanks!
Tim
OK, I think I found my answer in the battery threads. mAh x c rating / 1000.
My 1350 pack is 20C, so it should supply 27A. Acording to Don's specs, with the 6x4 prop it should be pulling 33amps. Looks like I need at least an 1800mAh/20c pack, or change to a 4.7x4.7 prop (27amps).
Is this correct?

A 1800 20C will be OK, most use a 3S 2200 as they are so cheap at Hobbycity these days.
