I may be missing something here, and some help would be appreciated.
When installing the rudder on a Bubble Dancer is the boom notched to accept the rudder, or is the rudder fit over the boom?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Randy .. .. ..

Randy...the rudder is notched and then slide over the boom....the boom is not notched.....i always attached the rudder after the boom was mounted to the pod.....
the "V" mount has been installed....then i would attach the wing center section and the stab...then CA the rudder in place......you then put a piece of 3/4 oz fiberglass over the wood rudder and the boom...i use min wax polycrylic for this.....
enjoy your BD...i've built 4 of them so far and they are a fantastic ship

That is what I thought would be the best approach.
I have another question. When you notch the rudder, do you use a drill or mill to get a precision fit of the rudder to the boom, or do you use some other method?
Thanks, Randy . . . .
