I've heard good things about the FMA CPD-4 Co-pilot.
However, given that it has thermal sensors and relies on the difference in temperatures of sky and surface, how will it behave in places where the horizon is obscured? Where there is an interface between sea and shore?

How will it do in this environment?:

Thanks, again!

I think in the copilot manual it states that it doesn't do well in valleys.

It has to see the sky and the ground at the same time. Anytime you put it in a position where it can't see both you have a problem.
