Hi
Does anyone know if the Xbee 868 pro will handle video telemetry?

The RF data rate is 24Kbps but the throughput rate is 2.4kbps. So the answer is no good for video!

transmitting video or just supplying the telemetry for an OSD?

How does an Xbee "supply the telemetry for an OSD" ? Normally, isn't the data overlay performed on the video signal prior to being transmitted by the video transmitter on the aircraft? Or are you talking about overlaying the telemetry data (sent via Xbee from aircraft to ground receiver) after receiving the video data on the ground? I don't know why you would do the latter... unless you want this telemetry data overlayed for video recording purposes . As abnormal as this might sound, I do this with the Kestrel AP Groundstation... it has a built-in BOB/overlay crkt so I overlay most AP parameters onto our separate video signal (GMS tx/rx) as the groundstation has a video in and out for this purpose.

It costs much less to transmit serial data at low baud rates over the audio channel or XBee downlink and genlock at the ground station.
PS XBee can do video if you are satisfied with 64x48@8fps. :)
