Not sure where my first thread went!!
Google Earth 5 has a much better image of the site.
A local school is heading out to find out more.

More news, an extract
From SAMHS we are presently unable to shed any light on this "structure" but believe it is worth a visit on the ground to try to obtain clarity.
The visit would probably comprise at least myself, Ken Gillings, and fellow member Dr Rodney Maud, a well known geologist and member of the Archaeological Society of SA. It is going to be difficult to find a day to suit everybody, but we would be happy for you to join us.
Pity I'm up in UK now, damn.

Gary-
A couple of questions. I tried G-Earth 5 and it had this nasty habit of starting to give me an angled perspective view as I enlarged the image. It would not keep the vertical perspective as I got closer to the ground. Do you see the same thing? Any way to turn it off?
Second question. Are those high voltage power lines going right across the site? Here in New Mexico, archeological sites attract power lines. The bigger the site, the higher the voltage that will be attracted! Believe me on this. I worked as an in-house archeologist for the biggest electric power supply company in New Mexico. I have often wondered what the "hidden variable" was that seemed to make this happen so often. Maybe we just have a lot of big sites!
Wish I could come along too.

Yep those lines go right through the site, they must have destroyed no end of stuff putting them in.
Three sets of the big marching ones.
Not sure what you mean with GE5, must be able to change it in settings.
I think they might find a pretty old site with a Anglo Zulu war or early settler farm built on top.
Cheers
