I have bought this program Aerofly Pro Deluxe and can not get it to read my USB controller. And i have heard it has problems with VISTA Any help out there.

If you did indeed purchase a retail copy of AFPD then it would of come with either it's own dedicated USB interface or an interlink controller to run with the software. If this is the case then it may well be that there is an issue with the hardware.

If on the other hand you purchased a copy of the software only on CD from someone on e-bay (or simply obtained a copy from a mate) then regretfully you will be out of luck in trying to get it to work legally with 3rd party interfaces as its the hardware that protects the software from unauthorized use.

I have had a few times where on vista the prog will dump on bootup after reloading vista all the sudden it worked then again reloaded vista (full hd format both times) it wouldnt run again, Strange things w/ vista are not new. Aerofly is by far my favorite sim! i would try another pc if possible. good luck!

Thanks i did buy both CD and Controller through Hobby lobby and i have tried 3 different computers. no dice

sounds like a hardware fault. If you get chance drop hobby lobby a mail to seek redress

Yes sounds like a bad controller , does windows see it and allow you to calibrate as a joystick, that would tell you if the controller was good(or not) glad im not you! in Iraq and no flight sim!been there no fun. x ammo troop. Good luck!
