Hi All,
Unfortunately, I've misplaced the wood wing joiners for my ARF Senior Telemaster. I was wondering if someone out there would be kind enough to trace the large and small wing joiner on paper and mail it to me.
Or....
Write the dimensions of the joiners here along with the dihedral (angle).
Your kindness will be greatly appreciated!

I'm building a "new-old" TM 66 right now. I'm almost ready to join the wings, and I'm thinking of making a carbon fiber joiner to use instead of the plywood joiners.
Anyone know of a good source for CF? I need a piece probably 8-10" long and probably 4+ inches wide, and thick enough to make a good wing joiner.
Powmaster, my joiner parts are for a 66" wing, but if you want, I can scan them or something for you if it would help. Keep in mind, my kit is 20+ years old, so it might not be what you need. Either way, I'd be happy to help.

Here they are:
Front:
38" long, 1" tall, 11/32" thick, and 2" under the bottom of one end when the other is held flat on the bench.
Rear:
21 1/4" long, 1" tall, 15/64" think, and 1 1/16" under the bottom of one end when the other is held flat on the bench.

BTW: These things are made from hardwood. Looks like maple or something similar.

Found the wing joiners at the flying field. Were wet from heavy rains but after drying, seem to be okay.
Thanks to all who replied.

They might not fit, from expanding.

, probably the best thing you can do is get a piece of birch ply about 1/8" and lamminate two of them with a good slow set epoxy. Let them cure overnight them sand to proper length and thickness, try to make it a firm fit and install with plenty of epoxy. I sure hope this helps you. Building model planes isn't hard but building the right way makes the pilot have more confidence   that he won't have any nasty suprises!!! Jerry

I used Gorilla glue to install mine. It expands and seems lighter than Epoxy. It's also a lot easier since you don't have to mix it. The 8ft wing is a challenge to transport and store.

Can any of you Telemaster pilots post some pics of your wing joiner systems? I'm building an old Telemaster 66, and want to keep the wing halves separate for storage and transport. I've seen CF rods used, and am thinking of trying a CF rod in a tube (brass or something else), or a flat aluminum joiner made like the ply joiner that the plans call for.
Any thoughts or pics to show me a good way to do this?
Thanks,
Bob

With the dihedral a straight tube can be difficult. A good plywood is probably the simplest. Next would be aluminum which could be laminated with plywood to get it thick enough without being too heavy. My wing is permanently joined so I cannot take pics of it. It came with hardwood joiners but the wood grain is necessarily straight. So I added carbon fiber strips top and bottom to help prevent splitting.

Attached PDF is one that I got via e-mail from Hobby Lobby. For the Sr. but could be scaled down for the 66"
