What Base coat for Canopy??

Im painting my fiberglass canopy. I have light grey primer already on it. I want my base to be white. Do I use flat white, not glossy white or semi-gloss? Im using enamel paint
This white will also be part of the finished product, but I will be layering on it also for cockpit and some lines and such. I just want the white to be glossy when finished. i will use Krylon clear when done with it all.

Paint it glossy.

If your topcoat is going glossy, then your basecoat should be the same. Don't use mismatched shades or you'll have problems. :mad: Unless you use the same brand of paint.

Also use like paints ie the same brand. Don't intermix brands unless you know what you're doing.

Yeah I decided to stick with enamel model masters on this one before I saw your post. Sure it will turn out just fine.
