Hey there!
My old FMS doesnt work on my new computer... Ive downloaded the ClearView sim, looks nice, but it seems that it cant be controlled with my FMS USB- cable..?

Does anybody know if there is any sim where i can fly Trex 450 SE V2 on Windows Vista, and use the USB- calbe with my optic 6 tx?

Thanx
/ örjan

What's the manufacture of the USB interface, what TX are you using ?

Actually i dont really know the mfg of my USB cable, i bought it as "the FMS cable"... The part that goes into the USB port in my computer is a clearblue plastic case with some electronics/ bright blue LED. The cable is divided in two parts and the 2nd goes into the student/ trainer port in my tx, its a Hitec Optic 6.

How do you guys controll your clear view sim anyway..?!? :-)

Go to Windows "Game Controllers" and test if your cable is listed and works there. If yes, you will be able to use it in ClearView. You must select it in ClearView "Controllers Setup" (probably is listed under name PPM) and it will work.

Hey, thanx! It works!! :-) I dont know how and why, but this time i could find my cable/ device in both game controller and the clear view setup, great! But i cant get my idle up- switch to work, it seems i have no heli- featurs in my tx sim mode- memory. Ill have to check that up.

thanx again! :-)

To fly a heli in a sim doesn't always require all the normal bells and whistles - if you map the pitch and throttle to the same channel it will get you started
