Over the next 24 hours our new web site will be launching at hobby-lobby.com! I would like to personally thank everyone who has tested the preview and giving us feedback along the way.

New web site features include:

- A "smart" search engine that learns over time
- Better navigation to find products
- Tabs on each product page that contain videos, specifications, manuals and the favorite "Everything you will need" links
- A bigger, better computer system to make pages load faster than ever
- PayPal! (enough said)
- Shipping quotes, domestic and international, are now automatic!
- Lower shipping prices on small parts and standard sized orders
- The ability to offer online gift certificates (coming soon)

We have tried to take as much of the feedback as possible from our customers during the test period to make it better - our survey said over 90% of respondents preferred the new site. We, of course, will continue to listen because we won't be satisfied until we approach 100%.

Please keep the feedback coming - good or bad. We have the greatest customers in the world and want to continue to find new ways to better serve you.

Thanks, Jay

Better teach that search function a thing or two. :)

I searched for "crystal", and a bunch of receivers popped up. Clicking on the "Hitec Micro 05S" links to the general receiver page (http://www.hobbylobbyrc.net/receiver.htm). Once you get there, you can look at the details of the Rx. But despite the text, "you must order one of HTRR72_ _ below", there is nothing "below". Searching for "HTRR7241" doesn't bring me to any crystals, leaving me to conclude you don't sell them any longer?

(I do like the new site in general)

We shall commence the teaching! Thanks and we will look into this quickly. Jay

Hi Jay,

I guess I should have posted these here;

I'll try to run a few more scenarios to help 'debug'

Why do you charge $25.00 international shipping in addition to the the postage and handling? while other shops charge only postage and handling?

I'm not sure what you are looking at. Our new website only charges actual shipping costs for international shipments. There are no extra fees added. Another plus is that on the old site if you ordered multiple items and some were back ordered, you were charged shipping fees on the back ordered items when they came in. Now shipping is free on back orders just like ordering in the US.

Thanks,
