Cd Rom Motor

Hello guys,
I am pretty new to this RC heli concept... i was considering to build my own RC micro heli for past few months.....

I was considering a CD-ROM drive motor as the main motor What say guys?. Should it do good? also can some one help me out on how should i make my own swash plate?

overall where can i find "A GUIDE TO BUILD YOUR OWN RC HELI"?????????? :confused:

try searching under heli section in rcgroups "scratch build helicopter" u should be able to find plenty of threads
