This is a project idea for all those wiz kids out there (because I'm not one :( ).

What if this Wii controller or similar device was mounted to the FPV glasses and then linked into the trainer port or the TX?

Move your head left and the Pan/tilt FPV camera would move left, up, down etc.

This would make FPV much more fun and more practical for AP applications.

If someone had it on the market I'd buy it in a heart-beat.

If it's already being marketed please give a link.

Thanks.
Peace and grace.

This is what all the head trackers already do.

Yes, but a wii controller is a bit cheaper than a comercial head tracker. Here is one youtube video of using the wii remote as a head tracker. http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/23/get-your-head-in-the-game-with-wii-remote-vr-display/

Here is one commercial head tracker for the RC FPV market. http://www.rangevideo.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=45&products_id=148

It uses gyros as opposed to the PC/Wii IR tracking which tracks position relative the the light bar.

An entirely different animal altogether which is why it's cheaper. :)
