I have a couple of main boards from broken Panasonic digital cameras with image stabilization. These boards have two gyros each to sense motion, and I would like to identify them so I can try playing with the gyros. I would like to try to stabilize the yaw on a small ir heli.

The logo on the cans has a C with a capital M inside of it. There is also a bunch of equal length horizontal lines stacked on top of each other like venitian blinds. One board has 4x8mm gyros and the other has 7x12mm. The smaller ones are labeled C549 and D550. The larger ones are labeled JPN-MB-519 and JPN-MA-519. They are surface mount devices with only 4 pins.

Hopefully someone can identify the logo from my description. I tried taking a picture but was not able to get a good shot because of the silver cans on the gyros.

Thanks,
Jeff

PS Just found a Murata gyro data sheet and it has this logo so I just need to find the specs on these gyros.

i am guessing the larger ones are murata enc-03m and the

smaller ones may be murata enc-03r

Thanks, I think you are right.

I have been trying to find what the difference between A and B or C and D is. Best I can figure is that they have different resonant frequencies for the piezo so that if you mount them on the same board they don't interfere with each other.

That is correct.

Hi,

Yeah thatīs right with the frequencies.

The people with the MikroKopter (mikrokopter.de) have designed a board with 3 of them, with a couple of inches between them. They say that it is far enough for 2 of the same type not to interfere with each other.
