Is the falcon 40 a good for beginner? Xheli.com is out of stock at the moment. I got my tax returns so I am kinda spoiling myself with rc stuff lol

Beginner as in first time? Falcon might be a tad difficult. Motor-tail helis are most unstable at liftoff, the motors accelerate at different rates.

I'd go with a coax. Yeah I know, it doesn't look like a 'real' helicopter. Bite the bullet on that one. Starting out with a difficult heli can be very frustrating. Coaxes are 4ch, throttle, rudder, aileron, elevator. Sufficiently challenging in a tight space. With light helis you get a lot more practice on an indoor one than waiting for calm enough wind outdoors.

Look at Esky V4, Eflite CX and MCX. Eflite costs more but is supported locally, otherwise they're almost the same product.

I want one for outside. I would go buy one at my local hobby shop but I am looking to spend 50$ more then if I got one online. Also I think xheli.com and nitroplanes.com are the exact same company.

Possibly not - consider the cost of shipping and also that many hobby shops actually beat online prices. Also the ability to see what you're going to get before you get it is hard to put a value on. Make sure you've actually checked your LHS before you rule them out.

Plus live support definitely has a value. Online vendors vary from very conversational to unreachable.

Most of what are considered 'starter helis' don't do very well outdoors. Insufficient mass, power, control range. The ones that DO have those attributes are more difficult to learn. Think about that compromise.

It all comes down to how much do you want to spend and how fast do you want to learn.

I bought a CoCo Lama V3 for a first heli and it's been an absolute blast so far. I just started flying a Honey Bee FP and while it's different, starting with the coax certainly made it a whole lot easier.

I started with the Blade CX. Traded it in on a Blade CP. Got a deal on a Blade 400 two months back. And 2 weeks ago i bought a MCX. Back to where I started from. Starting with the coaxial helped me a ton.
