Well all after my speed machine 74 project did not go over so well, I descided to scale it up a little. Its late and I am tired so here are some of my design sceen shots. The lift system is going to be a 74mm DF running on 3 cels and thrust will be a turnigy 35-48 900kv running on 4 cells. Hopefully this time i will get some blistering speed this time. Please give me some feed back.

That looks very neat What kind of skirt do you plan on using? I have found with high speeds the skirt will be pushed in by the oncoming air flow, thus resulting in lift underneath the craft. which then leads to the flip over. On a couple of craft we have tried utlizing a small elevator on the craft somewhere which does help!

Yes if you use an airfoiled wing pointed down in the back it will keep the nose down.

I am going to use a regular bag skirt for this one. It is also going to have elevons again so both the pitch and roll will be controlable. I am hping that it wont flip. The last model I made with this design was very stable it just didnt have enough thrust.

Do you have a vid of that last model? I remember seeing the thread about it but don't recall seeing a vid.

Are you going to remedy the pitching up problem by lifting up the rear of the hovercraft? Anything to reduce the drag is a good idea, might actually lift the whole thing off the water and get you into ground effect. One thing I might do differently is remove the curl down nose and structure it like an air splitter, or just make it neutral. Something tells me that's a good idea... sorry I cant quantify it.
