Looking to buy my son a Nitro car, I have some r/c modelling experience with
Boats (Electric) and planes but nothing with cars. I am looking for advice
on what would be a suitable make, without having to spend to much in-case he
doesn't like it, I can get a Colt RTR for about £155, are these any good or
are their better value cars about. He will not be racing in a club its just
to wiz around the local car park with his mates.

I am a nitro fan but they do need lots of maintenance. Would he be better
off with a battery one?

It all depends on his age and how willing he is to spend time on maintenance
and adjustments.
