Hello,

Can anyone give me a vector to a source for the series of plug-in type connectors & receptacles used by Common Sense and iCharger on their chargers and by Common Sense on their LiPoly packs' balancing taps. Digikey & Mouser have pages & pages of various connectors & as yet I don't see what I'm looking for.

I'm putting together a LiPoly field charger/balancer to be supplied directly by a 35 watt portable solar cell and controlled by an Atmel 89C51ED2 microcontroller which will allow selection of #S and current limit. I'm planning two separate output ports, each with 2S & 3S receptacles. No switching boost supply, just pass-type constant current control & LCD readout of current & individual cell voltages during charge, plus solar panel supply voltage monitoring. Probably will include a Nixx port with peak detection for Tx emergency boost or sailplane flight packs.

I only use up to 1500 maH 3S's & most regularly use 300 to 700 maH 3S packs. Solar cell puts out about 15 volts at 2 amps (midday, cloudless in L. A.) & should work for two smaller packs simultaneously & for 1 larger pack alone.

Maybe some of this can help.
Not sure on the exact connector model but maybe you can match something up...
